Sand Casting (Continued)

I pulled my glass out of the kiln today, and this is what was produced:

I was going for this, but I'm going to expand on the idea a bit more.

Sand Casting

Last week a portion of my glass casting class was introduced to sand casting. Basically, we stick a mold of whatever we want to cast into sand, and hot glass is poured in to create the piece.
