Sand Casting (Continued)

I pulled my glass out of the kiln today, and this is what was produced:

I was going for this, but I'm going to expand on the idea a bit more.

Sand Casting

Last week a portion of my glass casting class was introduced to sand casting. Basically, we stick a mold of whatever we want to cast into sand, and hot glass is poured in to create the piece.

so I decided to recreate it with my tablet!

There were supposed to be clouds in the background

 but they didn't look so great when I drew them so I

just took them out.

I've been meaning to post more often now that I'm on summer break, 

so here's a quick piece I did the other day. 

It's a ninja fighting some random big guy.

 as my character. Except it'll be on paper, and not digital.
